Kemerovo State University represents Kuzbass at Berlin Science Week 2019

The exhibition of the world’s leading scientific and educational organizations was opened at the Berlin Science Week (1–10 November 2019). Berlin Science Week is an international platform created to build a dialogue between science and society, exchange experiences, establish contacts, present projects and find partners with similar interests. The Flagship university of Kuzbass will present its achievements along with representatives of the leading research and educational organizations, innovation and business. As part of the round table “Prospects for the development of Russian-German scientific dialogue”, Kuzbass delegation will present the main activities of the Research and Educational Centre “Kuzbass”. One of the key projects of the Kuzbass delegation is “Development of algorithms for automatic analysis of RGB and IR images of aerial photography and recognition of images of objects in real time”, implemented by Kemerovo State University. Kuzbass delegation includes Anna Antonova, head of the Project office of the REC “Kuzbass”, Anton Stefankin, senior researcher KemSU’s Research Division, and Anna Smirnova, head of KemSU’s Center for German language and culture. Representatives of Kemerovo State University presented KemSU’ research laboratories to the guests of the exhibition and told about the academic mobility programs implemented at KemSU together with the universities of Germany and Italy.
