Getting to Kemerovo

There are two major transportation hubs – Moscow and Novosibirsk:

Moscow – Kemerovo

Three airports in Moscow area – Domodedovo, Sheremetyevo and Vnukovo – serve international markets. Direct flights from Moscow to Kemerovo are operated by airlines: S7, Aeroflot, Pobeda. Tickets can be purchased at the counter or online at www.s7.ru, www.aeroflot.ru, www.pobeda.aero.


Novosibirsk – Kemerovo

Direct flights from Novosibirsk to Kemerovo are operated by S7 Airlines. Tickets can be purchased at the counter or online at www.s7.ru

In addition, buses on the Novosibirsk-Kemerovo route run daily. Tickets can be purchased at the counter or online at https://e-traffic.ru/depot/kemerovo


Documents required for staying in the Russian Federation

Under the law of the Russian Federation, foreign citizens may move freely within the territory of the Russian Federation with the following documents:

1. Passport with a valid study visa;

2. Migration card;

3. Registration.


Registration for Migration Control

Under the law of the Russian Federation, a foreign citizen must be registered by the Migration Service of the Russian Federation. For this purpose, after every arriving in Kemerovo you need to hold the following documents to International cooperation department (Krasnaya street, 6, office 1225) during 3 days:

1. Passport;

2. Migration card;

3. A ticket to Kemerovo.

After this procedure, you will be given the paper of registration, which you must keep carefully together with the migration card.


General cases of registration are classified as the following:

• State Border crossing;

• Coming from any city of Russia;

• Hotel/hostel accommodation;

• A change of dormitory;

• Passport prolongation or reissuing.


Attention!

If you plan to rent a flat, you must be registered by the flat owner. It is forbidden to live in rented accommodation without being registered there.


Departure and entry to the Russian Federation

Before the departure, you should inform the specialists of International cooperation department about leaving by e-mail: oms@kemsu.ru


Visa prolongation

For visa prolongation, you should present listed documents to International cooperation department at least 6 weeks before the visa expiry date:

• Passport;

• Paper of registration;

• Migration card;

• 1 photo (3,5х4,5сm) made on dull paper, colored or black-white, no glasses;

• A state fee payment receipt for Multi-entry visa;

• A copy of study contract.


Loss of passport, registration, migration card

If you lost the passport, registration or migration card, you should go to International cooperation department.
