About the Institute

The Institute of Sociology andPsychology is one of the largest scientific and educational departmentsat Kemerovo State University. Currently, the Institute educates bachelors (6 programs), specialists (2 programs) and masters (3 programs).

The Institute offers the following postgraduate programs:

37.06.01 - Psychological Sciences (19.00.01 – Basic Psychology, Psychology of Personality, History of Psychology; 19.00.07 –Educational Psychology);

39.06.01 - Sociological Sciences (22.00.05 – Political Sociology; 22.00.08 – Management Sociology).

In 2011, the Institute opened a Dissertation Council for the degrees of Candidate of Sciences and Doctor of Sciences in the programs19.00.02 – Psychophysiology (Biological Sciences); 19.00.07 – Educational Psychology. The Dissertation Council also has the right to educate doctoral students in these programs.
