Teacher education (Teaching foreign languages and literature in educational organizations)

Program description

The aim of the program is to prepare new teachers: those who have relevant knowledge and skills in teaching foreign languages within the requirements of modern Russian standards and global educational trends. The program is aimed at enhancing and balancing hard, digital and “soft” skills.

Our graduates are versed in modern methods and technologies of teaching foreign languages: CLIL, TBL, IT in foreign language teaching. They know the peculiarities of teaching foreign languages to people of different ages and having different purposes. We pay a lot of attention to modern methods of assessing the foreign language competence. When preparing students, we take into account the requirements of the regional labor market, and the prospects for the development of foreign language education in the region. Practical teacher training is held in educational organizations, including local universities.
