The main task of preparing an academic bachelor in the profile "Technology and design of packaging production" is the formation of a personality capable of creating a corporate identity for various enterprises and advertising products that facilitate the promotion of goods and services on the market using the acquired knowledge, skills, possessions in the field of design and packaging of various products, as well as based on those formed in the process training of general cultural and professional competencies. A graduate can work as a director of advertising agencies; director of printing houses and printing enterprises; packaging designer; designer-constructor; design engineer; an engineer for the production of food and industrial packaging.

A specialist in the technology of printing and packaging production solves the following tasks:
• creating design layouts for a variety of printed products, ranging from posters, business and souvenir goods to the design of brand books of any enterprise in a single corporate style.

The training program of bachelor-packers includes blocks of humanitarian, mathematical, general scientific, chemical, special disciplines and large block of design disciplines. These include design fundamentals, art, drawing and perspective, composition, history of fine art, technical drawing, computer design, packaging design, printing fundamentals.
