KemSU presented the Medical Institute as part of strategic academic leadership program "Priority-2030"

The first admission of students will take place in the summer of 2022. Kemerovo State University obtained a license for the right to conduct educational activities by the specialty "Medicine" at the end of December 2021. In 2022, the Medical Institute will launch the residency programs in Surgery, Therapy, Ophthalmology, and Urology. In 2023, KemSU will begin training pharmacists and dentists.

Future specialists will also be able to practice in the laboratory of physical and chemical research of pharmacologically active and natural compounds. It is equipped with modern high-precision scientific equipment from the world's leading manufacturers. Students will conduct researches in Medical Genetics, Clinical Biochemistry, Microbiology, and Virology in the laboratory of Genomic Medicine.
