The curriculum provides comprehensive fundamental training in chemistry, biology, medicine, and economics. The list of core disciplines includes Inorganic, Analytical, Organic, Physical and Colloid Chemistry, Toxicological Chemistry, Physics, Biophysics, Botany, Fundamentals of Bioethics, Physiology and Anatomy, Microbiology and Virology, General Biology, Biological Chemistry, General Hygiene, Pharmacognosy, Clinical Pharmacology, Pharmacology, Pathology, First Aid. Organic Chemistry, Stereochemistry of natural and synthetic organic compounds, and Methods of fine organic synthesis teach students to develop and produce pharmaceuticals with given properties. Pharmaceutical Technology and Biotechnology form knowledge of modern drug production technologies.

The following disciplines teach analysis techniques described in the state pharmacopoeia: Pharmacopoeial analysis of plant raw materials, Pharmaceutical chemistry, Pharmaceutical technology, etc. Optional subjects include Physico-chemical methods of research of biologically active compounds, Electrochemical methods of analysis in analytical chemistry, Hybrid methods of analysis, Analysis of specific objects, Subjects of chemical expertise, Getting and presentation of information in chemical expertise. They allow students to master the skills of quality control.
