Our graduates organize and manage training and competitive activities of athletes with special needs in schools, community clubs, recreation institutions, health institutions, etc.

Curriculum:
Theory and Methodology of Physical Education, Adaptive Physical Education, Developmental Psychology, Motor Activity and Teaching Methods, Anatomy, Physiology, Biomechanics, General Pathology.

The main disciplines are Pathology, Psychology of Disease, Age-Related Psychopathology, Physical Rehabilitation, Massage, Special Pedagogy, Adaptive Physical Education, Methodology of Adaptive Physical Education, etc.

    Careers and opportunities:
  • any educational institutions that have students with special needs;
  • specialized educational institutions, e.g. boarding schools for children with developmental disabilities, orphanages, neuropsychiatric dispensaries, remedial classes and kindergartens, etc.;
  • sports schools and clubs for children with special needs;
  • health and fitness and rehabilitation centers, medical institutions, sanatoriums, etc.

A teacher of adaptive physical education and sports can organize physical education and sports activities for people with special needs; organize and manage competitions for athletes with special needs; provide methodological support for organizations of physical education and sports for people with special needs, etc.
