Food biotechnology studies the biotechnological potential of raw materials of animal and plant origin in order to obtain food additives, new enzyme preparations and biologically active substances on the basis of microbiological synthesis, and develops new, most cost-effective and promising technological solutions, which enables creating high-quality products of food and processing industries for various functional areas. The high level of specialists' training and the vast specialization of the program allow graduates to find jobs at chemical, pharmaceutical, microbiological, and food industry enterprises, as well as at subdivisions of enterprises of any industries when solving tasks of biotechnological profile.
