01.10.2020 | 17:35
In 2021, KemSU’s Institute of Engineering Technologies will enroll students to two new Bachelor’s Degree programs: “Design and Technology of Electronics” and “Design”. Within the Bachelor's Degree program in “Design and Technology of Electronics” (specialization: “Electronic tools for robotic devices and systems”), students will be trained to develop electronics for industrial and service robots, to customise and program them for production purposes. Students enrolled in the "Design" program (specialization: “Industrial design and CGI graphics") will be able to design ergonomic industrial products. They will also learn to visualise design solutions using computer graphics, to create special effects and animation for films and games. Students will be charged a tuition fee.

As a reminder:
In September 2020, the Institute of Digital Technologies was opened in the Flagship University of Kuzbass. The new structural unit of KemSU is engaged in applied research in the field of remote sensing. Earlier KemSU specialists developed the geoinformation system “Kuzbass” with a 12-layer digital city model, including the analytical layer “Subsoil use” for monitoring the project “Clean coal - green Kuzbass”. The system vectorised municipal roads, railways and power lines in Kuzbass. The geoinformation system “Kuzbass” solves the problem of lack of unified information on location of linear infrastructure objects in municipalities for their subsequent cadastral registration. The data on the progress in preparation of Kemerovo Region”s digital twin were also presented.
